The Friends of the Medfield Rail Trail commissioned a design study for the Medfield portion of the trail. The final report was completed in April 2017.

The Bay Colony Rail Trail Study Committee delivered its final report to the Board of Selectmen in December of 2016:

Volunteers Needed!

$5,960 of $10,000 raised

The Rail Trail is open! This does not mean that we are done, though. Trail amenities, more safety railing, a tool shed and equipment, and a revolving fund for upkeep and repairs are some of the things that we will work on and that require funding.
The Friends of the Medfield Rail Trail is a project of the Medfield Foundation, Inc. (MFi), a 501{c}(3) corporation.
